Mousumi Bhattacharya is an active performer and choreographer with over 30 years of experience in Bharatnatyam, ballet, and related disciplines. A member of the Tanushree Shankar Dance Company alongside Anita Mallick (Saraswat), she has performed extensively in ballet and aerobics. Certified by the esteemed Ananda Shankar, she trained in Kathak under Pt. Omprakash Maharaj and learned folk dance from Guru Botu Pal. She has participated in and organized numerous dance, ballet, aerobics, and fitness workshops. As the founder of Mayuri Centre for Aerobic and Rhythmic Arts, she has contributed to the field with remarkable dedication and stability.

  Mudavis
  Was a Mudavis (Music Dance Visual) member founded by Late. Ananda Shankar, a live orchestra with dance.
• 1995
  WCC
  Performed as the lead dancer, in the opening of the WCC 1995 with graceful vibe and audience, hosted in the Eden Gardens.
• 1997
  Race Course
  Performed as the lead dancer in the 150 Years Celebration of Race Course Kolkata.
• 1996
  Yuva Utsab
  Performed as the lead dancer in the Yuva Utsab Celebration in Kolkata, WB @1996
• 2000
  MAYURI
  Established Mayuri, a dance institute by Mousumi Bhattacharya, covering up dance streams like, ballet contemporary, Bharatnatyam, classical, with over 25 Years of exposure.
